1. The attention of the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration is invited to the reference 2nd cited wherein he has submitted proposal for sanction of 17 days earned leave to Municipal Teachers whoever been participated in the Samaikyandhra Movement which on par with Teachers working under School Education Department. The Hon'ble Members of Legislative Council elected from the Teachers Constituencies and various Teachers Associations have also requested the Government for the same.
2. Government, after careful examination of the issue, hereby accord permission to Credit 17 days of Earned Leave to the Teachers working in the Municipal Schools, who Have participated in Samaikyandhra agitation and attended Schools for 33 days on Public Holidays in the interest of Students subject to the conditions issued in respect of the Teachers working under School Education Department issued vide Govt. Memo. No.3957/Ser.Ill A.1/2015, School Education Dept., dt.23-1-2019.
3. The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, AP, Guntur shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
4. This memo. issues with the concurrence of Finance (HR.IV-FR&LR) Dept., vide their U.O.No.FIN01-HROCRSR(LR)/39!HR.IV-FR&LR/2019.
